Job description
First rate opportunity for a HR Director / Director of People to join a leading South East law firm with offices throughout Surrey. This role will be based in the firm's head office in Guildford. Hybrid working will be considered with 2-3 days in the office.
Reporting directly to the Managing Partner The Director of People role will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the firm's people strategy. This strategic leadership position is responsible for driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, foster a positive workplace culture, and align with the firm's business goals. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated HR team, partnering closely with senior leaders to deliver effective HR programs and solutions.
The successful candidate should hold a Level 7 accreditation or above from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), or a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or Business-related subject. As well as this a minimum of 5 years of HR leadership experience, preferably within the legal industry.
