Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Principal Level Structural Engineer in Glasgow.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects.
While SER Certification is preferred, we welcome applications from individuals who aspire to achieve this qualification, as full support and training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the structural engineering design process for a range of projects, including large warehouses, retail units, and residential schemes.
- Utilise expertise in steel frame designs, particularly for sheds and storage units, to deliver innovative solutions.
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met within budget and schedule constraints.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Utilise software skills in Tedds, AutoCAD, Tekla, and other relevant programs to produce accurate designs and documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) preferred.
- Extensive experience in structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in software tools such as Tedds, AutoCAD, and Tekla. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.

- £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
