KYC Operations Manager
Northampton

As a Barclays KYC Operations Manager, you will have an exciting opportunity to be working as part of Barclays Payments Merchant Services (BPMS) who are a part of Voice & Back Office processing team. Within this role you will be managing a team to deliver exceptional service to clients and potential clients whilst achieving performance metrics and driving continuous improvements. As key member of the Leadership team you will be engaging in a range of business challenges across Barclays Payments Merchant Services.

What will you be doing?

•    Managing the daily running of operations, including effective resource planning and implementing strategies
•    Developing a positive control culture, where risk and governance is at the front of mind 
•    Setting and meeting performance targets for speed, efficiency and quality 
•    Ensuring all relevant communications, records and data are updated and recorded 
•    Being responsible for building and maintaining a successful team 
•    Reviewing performance and identifying training needs 

What we’re looking for:

•    Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience of working with key stakeholders up to Senior Level e.g. Financial Crime and Relationship Teams would be beneficial
•    Ability to support people through change and deliver high performance 
•    Exceptional communicator, able to liaise with stakeholders and team members  
•    Excellent people skills with a  focus on team working within a high performing environment 


Skills that will help you in the role

•    Knowledge of banking products and services and associated legislation e.g. Code of Banking Practice
•    Knowledge of regulatory and risk requirements relating to customers

Where will you be working?

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
