Duties/Responsibilities
Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire
Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE
Hours of Work: 08.00-17.15 (1700 on Friday)
This role will be responsible for:
- Develop effective relationships with EMCOR and the client organisation.
- Ensure that programme/project plans are in place and actively managed to deliver Transformation activity.
- Understand and articulate potential issues pre and post transition to BAU.
- Liaise with the specialist subcontractors & providers helping them deliver the requirements of transformation activity.
- Provide an engineering project interface with operations, service providers, design authorities project personnel and other stakeholders.
- Challenge EMCOR UK and client procedures and process and suggest improvements where required.
- Assist in providing regular updates to EMCOR UK & AWE teams. Maintain day to day contact with the relevant stakeholders; attending meetings as required.
- Assist in the production of regular reports using IT reporting tools and analytical data.
- In conjunction with the HSE&Q Team, regularly review the safety and compliance considerations of all project aspects, identifying areas for improvement.
- Actively and positively promote the image of EMCOR UK at all times and to maintain good working relationships with clients, suppliers and other external parties.
Person Specification
Our ideal candidate will have/be able to:
- A background in an Engineering or Asset management setting, ideally within manufacturing or another regulated/ high security environment.
- Understand how technology, business process and organisational culture integrate to achieve sustainable change.
- Have previous proven supervisory responsibilities, or have strong interpersonal skills.
- Be able to thrive in an uncertain environment, where change is the norm.
- Gravitas and charisma to stand out amongst others and the ability to deliver through other, often more senior people.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and on paper, able to present argument and arrive at evidence-based decision making.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
- A good working knowledge of outsourced M&E or Hard Facilities Management services within the UK would be desirable.
