The role: SEN Teacher

Contract: Full Time

Location: East London

Rate: £180 - £230

Key Responsibilities: - SEN Teacher:

• Support children with SLD, autism, and complex needs, providing individualized attention and care.
• Deliver a curriculum tailored to the specific needs of our students through our pathways approach.
• Collaborate with a team of skilled teaching assistants, to ensure each child receives the support they require.
• Assist students with personal care needs, showing a willingness to provide necessary support.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging the social and emotional development of each child.

Standard Requirements - SEN Teacher:

• Must have QTS or QTLS or PGCE qualifications
• Experience working with pupils with SEND, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) is desirable.
• A genuine passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Familiarity with Makaton and previous experience of PECS would be advantageous.
• A willingness to assist with personal care requirements.

The successful SEN Teacher will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
