The Role
We are seeking a passionate and motivated frontend developer to join our dynamic team that is dedicated to building high-quality web experience for our customers.
You will be joining our team responsible for multiple web-based client applications within the Workiro platform. All are built using React, with state managed by a combination of Redux and React Context. Server communication is efficiently controlled by TanStack Query. We prioritize the use of Typescript for all new projects, although there are still areas where JavaScript is used. Our projects are managed in node and bundled using Webpack. This technology stack will be present in most of your daily tasks, so it will be important that you enjoy working with it as much as we do.
We take great care in ensuring that our apps are easily accessible by using responsive design and supporting multiple breakpoints and devices. Additionally, we also develop and maintain Electron-based applications for both Windows and Mac operating systems.
The client apps connect to a REST API backed by a network of event driven .Net microservices and MySQL for the database. We host the whole application in AWS. While there is no expectation for you to delve into API development, it will be important for you to maintain effective communication and state between the UI and server components. This may involve collaborating with the team responsible for API solutions to ensure smooth operation.
Your attention to detail and commitment to crafting high-quality user experiences will be valued as you contribute to our design system and help enhance our overall product offering, by working on a variety of projects, from feature development to bug fixes.
The Team
If you choose to join our team, you will have the incredible opportunity to work alongside a group of dedicated individuals who are enthusiastic about their work. You will become a valued member of our close-knit team of 4 frontend developers within our larger Product & Engineering department of over 20 talented professionals.
Our collaborative environment includes a Product Manager, UX Designer, DevOps and QA professionals, making for an exciting and supportive work culture.
You will have the chance to learn from experienced and talented colleagues, while also sharing your own knowledge and inspiring others. You will have the chance to contribute and make a real impact throughout the entire product life cycle. Your unique contributions will not only make a difference within our company but will also help us to continually improve and excel.
We encourage personal and professional growth, providing resources and support for you to further develop your skills and stay up to date on industry trends.
