You will be line managed by the Divisional Nurse Director for children and supporte4d by the Divisional Nurse Director for Medicine so will always have a point of contact to bounce ideas off as well as agree the changes necessary to drive the service forward. We are working across boundaries with the ICS and ICP to design services that are innovative, responsive and child centred and inclusive. Contact Jo Connolly Divisional Nurse Director to arrange a chat about the role [email protected] Duties will include, but not be limited to: Is responsible for ensuring the provision of Excellent Care with Compassion across a number of areas and or services. Is responsible for ensuring that the nursing team and care support teams across their wards/departments/services are adequately resourced and organised in order to deliver excellent care with compassion. Is responsible for ensure the nursing team and care support teams across their wards/departments/services are adequately supported and developed to deliver excellent care with compassion Ensure clinical services are developed and delivered in line with national policy, trust priorities, available evidence and patient care needs. Is responsible for leading and developing staff by being a visible authoritative role model providing clinical and managerial leadership, support and direction, capitalising on research and development opportunities, supporting staff to reach their full potential. Is responsible for ensuring the productive operation of their areas through the monitoring and maintenance of the highest standards of clinical care that create safe, clean and organised services ( including implementation of the infection control policy and action plans) and by developing processes designed to increase the time nurses spend in therapeutic contact with patients. Financial Management - Within specific area of responsibility ensure robust financial controls are in place, resources are effectively utilised and relevant financial targets are achieved. Safeguards people and promotes equality in care and practice by recognising, respecting and meeting the needs and choices of individuals.
