Job description
We are searching for a person who is an experienced Site Manager working on Waste Water Treatment plants.
For the right candidate, this position has considerable potential for growth and advancement as the
company grows. We are looking for a person who is an experienced Site Manager who may or
may not be a qualified engineer, but ideally has experience of site management in construction,
design and practical operating conditions of industrial water systems.
Ideal experience required:
Experience with industrial wastewater treatment, chemical bulk handling & distribution, ultrapure
water for electronics applications and PW / WFi systems for pharmaceutical clients, therefore
including:
- Filtration systems
- Membrane treatments including reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration
- Conventional and electrolytic deionisation systems
- De-aeration
- Sterilisation (UV, SIP & CIP systems)
- Steam Generation
- Wastewater treatment systems
- Chemical bulk handling
Duties
- Organising and receiving equipment deliveries.
- Site inspections & measurement.
- Installation supervision.
- Day-to-day liaison with client & contractors.
- On-site pre-commissioning electrical checks.
- Plant commissioning process / electrical / mechanical, which will require familiarity
with PLC based control systems. Capability of reading and modifying software
ladder logic.
7. Production of Method Statements, Risk Assessments and working with Permit
systems.
8. Production of site reports & paperwork, including site instructions & variations.
9. Providing on-site support and technical expertise.
10. Providing periodic technical support for a small number of other clients with both
water and wastewater treatment plants of various types.
11. Fault finding & rectification. This is an important aspect of the position.
