Job description
As the Director of HR you will play a key role in shaping the organization's culture and supporting team members. You will be responsible for developing human resources programs and participating in executing tactics specifically in the areas of compliance, administration, talent acquisition and retention, development, performance management, employee relations, worker’s compensation, benefits and compensation.
Qualifications: - Must be Bilingual – English/Spanish
- Minimum of five years’ experience in human resources within the hospitality/restaurant industry
- Must have been a Director or VP of HR in any of previous position.
- A BS/BA degree; Human Resources or Management – preferred
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP – preferred
- Ability to bring immediate credibility to the human resources function
- Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities; strong time management skills
- Highly flexible; demonstrates the ability to change directions quickly, re-set priorities and re-focus without losing sight of long and short-term initiatives
- Demonstrated background in recruiting, retention, effectively handling employee relations, human resources policies and compliance
