FIRE DOOR ENGINEER
Salary: £34,334.57 - £36,051.30 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week
Location: Cheltenham, GL51 0EX

We are looking to recruit a Fire Door Engineer to join our friendly team at a prestigious building in Cheltenham to undertake maintenance and installations of fire doors, non-fire doors and other fire safety equipment within a large complex. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7am and 4pm.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role are:
Undertake corrective maintenance activities identified during inspections by a third party.
Complete reactive maintenance activities identified by our clientele or internal resource within appropriate timescales.
Ability to assist other team members develop and improve their understanding of fire door systems.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), inspection and testing tasks.
Carry out reactive / corrective / repair works.
Possess and apply a good understanding of health and safety regulations
Essential Criteria:
NVQ 2 Carpentry qualification (or similar) and be willing to work towards FDIS/ FIRAS competence (or similar) which will be fully funded
Experience of remedial work and new installations.
