Join as a Full-Time Teaching Assistant at a primary school based in Tamworth, where you'll provide essential 1:1 support to a child in Key Stage 1!
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored 1:1 support to a child in Key Stage 1, ensuring their individual needs are met and progress is achieved.
- Conducting small group intervention sessions focused on Phonics, providing targeted support to enhance literacy skills.
- Collaborating with teachers and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies and interventions.
Requirements:
- Minimum relevant Level 2 qualification in Teaching Assistance or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly in Key Stage 1.
- Strong understanding of Phonics and literacy development.
