Area to be covered: South Coast (Poole to Kent)Remuneration: £35,000 – £45,000 + annual bonus (work 1 Saturday every 6 weeks)

The role of the Business Development Manager – Renewable Energy Products will involve:

• Field sales position selling a range of renewable products such as: solar PV, heat pumps, car charging, solar lighting, voltage optimizers and battery storage
• All of your time will be spent selling to contractors, electrical installers, renewable & solar installers, manufacturers, councils, housebuilders, developers and the general public
• Contributing a depot turnover of circa £39m
• Majority of your time will be spent managing accounts however will be expected to generate some new business
• Working in conjunction with an internal sales ream that handle admin and support in setting appointments
• Order values can fluctuate, with some valued at £1k-£5k and others rising to £3m

The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager – Renewable Energy Products with:

• Must have field sales experience in the electrical, heating or renewables sectors
• Ideally specific knowledge of solar and energy storage however not essential
• Ideally sold to a mixed route to market via contractors, electrical installers, renewable & solar installers, manufacturers, councils, housebuilders, developers and the general public (will be flexible)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Personable, team player, people person, driven and enthusiastic
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
