Situated at the very heart of England on the border of the East and West Midlands, Hinckley is well connected by major transport links to the cities of Leicester, Coventry and Birmingham and in an ideal location for commuting being close to major transport links of the M1, M6, M69, M42 and the A5.

Housing Support and Administration Officer (Repairs)
Grade 3, £23,114 up to £24,294 per annum pro rata
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a 6 month fixed term contract
An exciting opportunity has become available for an organised and detail orientated Housing Support and Administration Officer. Based predominantly at our Jubilee Building, providing administrative support and excellent customer service in our Housing Repairs Team to colleagues and customers.

As a proactive and self-motivated person, you will work alongside various teams within Housing to ensure system housekeeping is prompt and accurate. You will be able to use your organisational skills to manage your administrative duties in a timely manner, support the team and meet deadlines.

You will be able to take calls from our customers, with excellent listening skills and the ability to make a detailed assessment of the call to take the appropriate action. We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate they thrive in a busy front-line service and can effectively prioritise work.

We’re looking for an individual who can work with vulnerable people, with a caring, patient, and sensitive approach.

We operate a ‘hybrid working’ model with a mix of office based, home and remote working available when suitable. The contractual base will be office based with agreed flexibility to work from home or at remote working locations in the borough.
