Job description
We are looking to recruit a Cable Supervisor to provide support. to our PIA Infill team.
You will be responsible for overseeing field activities and engineers to ensure safety, quality and delivery is maintained to customer expectations and Comex high standards.
Principal duties include collaborative working with the Programme Management team. To ensure the most efficient and cost-effective approach is used to deliver an outstanding level of service. Providing Ideas and suggestions to mitigate risk and obstacles.
With assistance from the Management team you will also demonstrate and develop financial controls that detail profit and loss and detailed cost to complete reports for each scheme.
- Regular reviews of project status.
- Assessing A55 information ensuring compliant documentation for client updates
- Managing on site SSHEQ compliance
- Promoting Near Miss and Positive Intervention reporting
- Efficient communication and engagement with Stakeholders
- Live and Retro audits of work sites
- Control of site environmental issues
- Development of strong team working relationships
- Ensuring all project KPI`s and SLA`s are achieved
- Uploading documents to Company systems as and when necessary in line with business requirements
- Assist in developing accurate programmes for weekly updates and progress
- Ensuring compliance to procedures through weekly/monthly reports
- Early identification of problematic issues on site
- Ownership of projects, programmes, documentations, and site activities
- Weekly submission of information including timesheets, material sheets and plant & site checklist
- Collation of data, including scheme drawings of layout, sections, as-build drawings, DSR’s and Box to Box schematics
- Operative’s Appraisals
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership with employees on site with a key focus on driving production and performance
- A positive and enthusiastic approach to work
- Good organisation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Have good IT skills
- Previous PIA experience desirable
- NRSWA Level 10 very desirable
- EUSR, SMSTS or SSSTS desirable
