We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Belfast, County Antrim for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
This is a full tine position working a 40 hour week with a 1:4 weekend rota. There is also a share of the OOH rota. There is time back in lieu for OOH and weekends worked. It is an 8 week rolling rota. Part time applications will be considered.

- Team: 9 Vets 13 Nurses, 3 SVNs a large support team.
- Flexible rota patterns are available to suit.
- No Bank Holidays
The role:
- The full time role is a 40 hour week over an 8 week rolling rota. There is 1:4 weekend rota and an OOH rota. Time off in lieu is provided either before or after working a weekend or OOH rota.
- This role is ideal for a motivated and ambitious nurse who would like to make a difference and share and promote new ideas.
- The role will include and offers wide variety of duties and cases including patient nursing, ECC nursing, nurse consultations, theatre work, triaging patients, blood samples, anaesthesia work, radiography and lab work, reception work where required and maintaining health and safety protocols.
- The RVN will be expected to be dedicated to providing a high standard of patient care and be able to work well as part of a team whilst establishing excellent working relationships with clients.
- The role offers flexible work patterns to suit around lifestyle, school runs and school holidays.

- Established Small Animal Practice
- They are fully equipped offering state of the art facilities and veterinary services including a imaging suit incorporating a CT scanner, radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy and MRI. They provide top of the range monitoring equipment and provide a range of dental equipment and dental x-ray.
- Due to the high level of equipment that they provide they are able to offer specialists etc surgeries and laparoscopic surgeries.
- They have a supportive team of 9 Vets, 13 Nurses some of whom are certificate holding Surgeons.

- The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.
