Assistant/ Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

Civil Engineering Main Contractor

North West Wales

An Assistant/ Intermediate Quantity Surveyor is currently required to join a Principal Civil Engineering contractor on a c.£200 million major tunnelling project in Wales which will span over 8 years.

Working with the National Grid the project aims to construct a new Tunnel, which will house pipelines, communication and powerlines to preserve the natural beauty of the landmark.

The purpose of the role is to support the existing commercial team on a live site so they are looking to source the best Commercially minded engineering talent to support them as the projects develop to construction stage.

If you have 18 months plus experience of working as a Quantity and willing to work on site please submit your application to be considered which will be followed up with a confidential conversation to discuss next steps if suitable.

Due to the nature of the work the following criteria is essential for the role:

• BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Demonstrate good knowledge of the New Engineering Contract (NEC).
• Awareness of construction methodology and the understanding of drawings
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel, Word and other programmes.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving Licence is also required.
• CSCS Card is beneficial as one will be needed to work on site
