Job description
Help a small charity to improve even more of the community's health and well-being through engaging in creative activities, by improving the quality, quantity, size and success rate of our funding applications.
What will you be doing?You will be working closely with the Chair of the Trustees, who has been writing funding bids for over 10 years. We are keen to share the responsibility for grant writing and to involve someone with professional experience with a view to them eventually taking over as a supported leader grant writer.
Work with trustees, activity leaders and service users to identify business as usual and developmental funding needs.
Research possible sources of funding and identify eligible and suitable funding sources.
Produce a funding timetable, showing when funds open for application, close for application and decision dates. Schedule in with this when work should start on each application
Produce a funding budget and forecast, identifying where, when and how much funding is needed, together with the forecast sources of that funding.
Write and submit funding bids.
Report of spend and impact of funding according to the needs of the funder and the trustees.
