Looking for an exciting opportunity in finance? Leonardo Helicopters has the perfect role for you!

We are currently seeking a talented Project Accountant to join our team. You will be an integral part of our Customer Support & Training department, specifically working on the Integrated Merlin Operational Support (IMOS) program.

This is a unique chance to provide financial direction and advice to the program leadership, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and contractual obligations.

Here's what you'll be responsible for:

Collaboration: Represent finance within the Program IPT(s), working alongside other functional leads as part of the IPT construct.

Systems Support: Provide assistance to the rest of CS&T finance, particularly with month-end and budgetary Excel consolidations, as well as wider SAP support.

Streamlined Processes: Work with other project accountants to establish a common approach for similar programs, promoting efficiency and best practices.

As the Project Accountant for the IMOS program, you will have financial responsibility within the CS&T Finance team. This includes accurate preparation of monthly forecasts, reporting, and annual budgeting in compliance with accounting standards and company policy. Additionally, you will:

Your role will also involve partnering with the business to fulfill forecasting and budgeting requirements associated with contracts. You'll monitor and report on contract performance and provide timely and accurate financial reporting. In addition, you'll handle ad-hoc requests, problem-solving to deliver well-considered, accurate, and timely solutions.
