ty client based in Hitchin is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 vacuum tanker driver to joint heir team on a temp to perm basis
**Responsibilities:**
- Operate Class 2 Vacuum Tanker vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on assigned equipment.
- Navigate designated routes to empty septic tanks and transport waste to designated disposal sites.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during transportation and waste disposal.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of vehicles and equipment.
**Requirements:**
- Valid Class 2 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating Vacuum Tanker vehicles.
- Familiarity with septic tank systems and procedures for safe waste disposal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
Working Monday - Friday 0800-1630 paying between £14 and £18 per hour depending on experience weekly pay
