Job description

Advinia Healthcare, is recruiting for a full time Registered Home Manager to manage our purpose built state of the art home Alma Barn Lodge in Didcot.

Here at Alma Barn we support Residents who need different levels of care, including those living with dementia. By creating an active, vibrant environment within the Home, we can help Residents enjoy meaningful, positive experiences every day. We’re also building close connections with the friendly village community, providing spaces for local groups to meet, hosting public events and operating a community coffee shop.

Essential skills:

- Experience managing a similar sized home
- Nurse preferable but not essential
- Passionate about Dementia care.
- Experience in providing and reviewing care assessments and plans in accordance to CQC requirements
- Experience in recruiting, developing and managing a team
- Experience of managing and working towards budgets
- Capable of increasing occupancy and marketing the home as a brand
- Excellent communication skills-confident working with local authorities and building new contacts
