We are looking to engage with a professional Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Quantity Surveyor who has the ability to work within a professional organisation.  The business are working primarily within refurbishment and maintenance across their regional base in Hertfordshire.

The ideal quantity surveyor will have a minimum of 5 years experience working within a very similar sector.  The business are a leading operation with office locations across the UK.

• We are looking for someone with at least five years’ experience.
• The position will be office based with some home working offered after probation period.
• Be able to tender low value lump sum projects (up to £200K).
• Have experience working with SOR’s
• Understand construction frameworks.
• Manage commercial aspects of live projects (agree variations, submit monthly valuation, approve sub-contractor payments, and agree final accounts)
• Follow process and have a good commercial understanding of construction projects.
• Be a team player and a good communicator.
• Be self-motivated.

The position is offer with:-
