Job description

Robert Half are excited to be working with an industry leading organisation to recruit an accounts payable clerk, based full-time in office , in Caerphilly.

They are offering a very competitive: base salary up to £30K + / flex start and finish times + onsite parking + more.

The role's core objective is to Receive, record and pay Invoices via Business System, answer supplier queries on the telephone and via email and reconcile AP ledger monthly.

As a Account Payable Clerk , you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Receive & Upload PDF invoices to invoice reading software
• Create templates in the software (Medius-flow)
• Action invoices through Medius Flow, chase users to ensure invoices are approved timely
• Email price queries to managers for approval
• Maintain annual cost price file
• Create Payment proposal twice monthly . Process payments on bank and system
• Check monthly vendor statements and contact them with any queries
• Maintain Monthly Duty file-C88 and enter onto system each month
• Expenses - Match receipts to expenses sheets and enter onto accounts
• Reconcile accounts payable ledger
• Month end purchase accruals
• Help with Trade Agreement documents in system when required
• Distribute Monthly credit card statement to employees
• Run foreign exchange revaluation at month end
• Audit Filing of delivery notes/Invoices with goods inwards
• Monitor Bank statements and enter any direct debits to system
• Inter Company Netting from related companies
• Maintain Energy spreadsheet/Submit gas/electric readings online.
• Assist with any other ad-hoc finance issues when requested

Desired Profile:

• Desire to learn new tasks outside of AP, to offer cover within the department.
• Intermediate Excel
• Previous Account Payable experience essential
• MS Dynamics 365 experience desirable
