Personal Assistant for Married Couple - Flexible 16 working hours- £12.50 P/H - NR28

Job purpose
We are a married couple with learning disabilities and health needs, living in our own flat in the community. We are hoping to recruit someone who is able to be flexible providing household support, personal hygiene including bathing, preparing meals, keeping the home clean and tidy and accessing the community with us. This could be to go out for a meal, play snooker, Theatre and to just get out and about. From time to time, we may need other support.

Essential:
-Can work as part of a small team of 4 people.

Summary terms and conditions· The rate of pay for this position is £12.50 per hour, double time on bank holidays.· Hours and times of work: Flexible working times will vary between 8 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., and working alternate weekends
. Hours and times of work: Flexible 16 Hrs Per Week, Time discussed further at interview.· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5/6 consecutive weeks.

• If this position requires any of the following, the employee will be required to complete free annual training

The post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
