Job description

This is a development role. The Finance Apprentice will be assigned to work within the Payments Department, initially as a Level 3 Finance Admin Officer, while also studying to attain an accounting technician. The Finance Apprentice will be expected to fulfil duties appropriate to their role at each stage of their development, and will be given financial support and day release / time to study, progressing to a Level 4 Senior Finance Admin Officer role following completion of L3 Diploma in Accounting or equivalent and subject to attainment of the specified competencies..

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Possess a minimum grade B in GCSE Maths and Grade B in GCSE English, and 96 tariff points (UCAS New tariff points for entry to Higher Education 2017) from any Level 3 subjects.
