Title: Financial Controller (FC) - Immediate Opportunity
Location: Medway (Hybrid)
Role Overview:
The Financial Controller will be integral to financial management, ensuring the robustness and accuracy of our financial operations. This role involves direct reporting to the FD, managing financial processes for entities with significant turnovers, and leading financial reporting, budgeting, and team management activities.
What You'll Do:
- Financial Leadership : Prepare and present monthly management accounts for multiple entities.
- Budget Management : Lead the charge on quarterly budget reviews and the annual budgeting process.
- Team Development : Oversee a dedicated finance team, fostering growth and development.
- Financial Strategy : Manage cash flow efficiently and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Operational Excellence : Engage in month-end processes, conduct reconciliations, manage tax liabilities, and liaise with external auditors.
- Innovation and Improvement : Drive enhancements in financial processes and systems for better efficiency.
Who We're Looking For:
- Experienced Financial Manager : With a proven track record in financial reporting and strategic budget management.
- Strategic Financial Thinker : Skilled in forecasting, planning, and high-level collaboration.
- Tech Proficient : Experience with accounting systems, with a preference for ERP knowledge.
- Regulatory Knowledgeable : Familiarity with Corporation Tax, VAT, and financial compliance.
