Finance Manager | £55,000 - £60,000 + private healthcare | Central MCR (Hybrid) | Tech SME
Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with a high growth, culture driven SME based on the outskirts of Manchester who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to their team. This is an extremely high growth start up business that have grown 60% YoY since 2019.
They are now at a point where they want to bring the accounts in-house, so this candidate will be allowed lots of autonomy and will need the gravitas to work with senior stakeholders, helping to support the business in its next phase of growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and analysing the group management accounts and weekly flash reporting including providing insightful commentary on financial performance
- Business partnering with key stakeholders such as Tech, HR teams to ensure they have the correct financial information needed for decision making and providing commercial analysis
- Managing the month end process to ensure the management accounts are produced accurately and on time
- Produce annual budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Manage and mentor a Commercial Analyst
- Assess and introduce financial systems to ensure that the finance team can operate as efficiently as possible and to allow non-finance colleagues to access finance support easily and reliably
- Involvement in project work and supporting the wider business on achieving it’s goals
- Supporting any financial due diligence requests
Person Specification:
- Prior experience working for a high growth, fast paced business
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and bring new ideas to the table
- A positive attitude to work, with an ability to work at pace
