We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking GMP Cleaner to join our friendly team working in GMP manufacturing environments across the UK.
GMP cleaning requires cleaning, washing walls, sweeping, emptying of litter bins, cleaning of equipment as required to keep a high audit standard at all times.
You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate equipment and materials, which are supplied.
Full training will be given.
You will be partnered up with a colleague and will use a company van to get to client sites.
The ideal candidate will need to live in the Nottinghamshire area.
The GMP Cleaner will be responsible for:
- GMP cleaning as per customer requirements
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed
- To assist the team leader when compiling reports
- Ensure regular checks of the equipment and machines used during the working day
- Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to GMP Cleaning Team Leader.
- To attend training sessions
The Ideal GMP Cleaner will be:
- Full driving licence – this role involves driving to customer sites in a company van
- Available work weekdays. The shifts are generally 8 hours per day from Monday to Friday starting from 7am – 3pm Any additional hours over 40 hours per week will be compensated with overtime or TOIL (agreed in advance with you)
- Available to work away occasionally - Overnight accommodation and meals provided, if required to stay away for a client
- Living in the Nottingham or Derbyshire area
- General good physical health – on your feet a lot
- Prepared to work to strict timelines in isolated areas and follow stringent dress codes relevant to GMP
- Prepared to wear full uniform / PPE
- Good standard of IT literacy – Microsoft Office
This role will suit an experienced cleaner who has a good level of English, is a good team player and will follow strict cleaning guidelines to ensure the areas stay free of contamination.
This work could take you all over the UK so is an interesting and varied role for someone wanting to experience a different working pattern.

Saturday – 1.5 X base hourly rate of pay
