Development Officer - Numeracy (35 hours per week) £30,825 per annum
This role will work across Powys, supporting both Third Sector Organisations and Town and Community Councils to develop and deliver short training sessions on numeracy to adults aged 19+. The officer will also manage a small grant scheme. To do this job you will need enthusiasm for numeracy and a belief in people being able to realise their potential is equally important!
Development Officer - Green Travel (21 Hours per week) £18,496 per annum (£30,825 pro rata)
This role will work directly with Third Sector Organisations, supporting them to embrace sustainability and Net Zero initiatives, through the facilitation of a grant scheme to enable organisations to make capital investment in green transport initiatives. We are looking for someone with a passion for green travel and the ability to think innovatively about local travel solutions to a global climate emergency.
Both roles are funded to 31st December 2024.
Based at PAVO Offices in either Llandrindod Wells or Newtown (flexible working / working from home after induction)
