Overview
Salary: £18,000 to £20,000
The Role
- To provide overall support to the Digital Marketing Executive with a focus on online marketing initiatives
- To co-ordinate all online marketing work before release of new products with marketing team
- To offer advice and input on possible SEO and PPC strategies for local market or be keen to learn
- To improve customer satisfaction for mail order and online customers via our e-commerce shop
- To suggest and/or create new marketing ideas to increase profitability of the website
- To communicate with US office effectively to coordinate all marketing plans
- To have knowledge of Website Management, E-mail, Internet and Excel or be keen to learn
- To review in conjunction with Marketing Team all publications to check for accuracy and legal correctness
- Social Media management, content creation, scheduling and monitoring at business level (or be keen to learn)
Digital Marketing
- Daily management of operational duties of web (e-commerce) and mail orders (Order fulfillment and Shipping)
- Coordinating marketing strategies to improve online presence and brand awareness
- Creation of new content on our CMS platform
- Managing, copy writing and monitoring social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram)
- Assisting with the creation of Monthly E-Newsletters
- Updating and Ordering Website Stock
- Assisting with the operational duties of eBay and Amazon shops
- Updating price on website products
- Assisting with planning and design of seasonal marketing campaigns (E.g Easter and Christmas Promotions)
- Any other Digital marketing requirements
PR
- Updating and Implementing General Press Releases (when required)
- Coordinating briefing, production and sign off of advertising with digital partners
- Making sure online ads meet copy deadlines
Marketing
- Brainstorming new marketing ideas on a project basis
- General Proof reading (online and offline material)
- Coordinating the production of leaflets, magazines and other marketing material
- Checking all marketing material for accuracy and legal correctness
Customer Service
- Dealing effectively with all Customer Service enquiries by any necessary means (email, phone and post)
- Dealing with telephone enquiries for mail order and online orders in a prompt manner
- Assisting customers with their online purchase at a technical level (Knowledge of Expression Engine will be considered an advantage but not essential)
- Dealing effectively with customer refunds and complains via phone, email or post
Other Duties
- Processing customer orders and archiving on a daily basis is essential
- To be willing to assisting with post and packaging (when required)
- Registration of New Products/Clients within the internal admin program (when required)
- Willing to help with the yearly stock take process (when required)
General
Work closely with colleagues in other functions, such as advertising, market research, production, sales, distribution and any other marketing/admin role as reasonably required by management.
