Salary – Sixth Form College Association Salary Scale, points 1 to 9 +TLR 3 £3750, + Outer London Allowance
We require for the next academic year, a well-qualified, experienced and enthusiastic teacher of Chemistry to lead this high achieving and very popular subject. We currently have over 400 students studying the A level chemistry programme (AQA) in modern, purpose-built laboratories, supported by a team of specialist technicians.
There are excellent connections with the London universities, and students have many opportunities to attend talks and events organised by them either in person or online. Our most able and ambitious students have the opportunity to sit the prestigious Chemistry Olympiad and there are also events open to all students, such as the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge competition. The vast majority of Chemistry students go on to study at university a science related subject, with a sizeable number achieving places on Medicine related programems.
