Job description

If the answer is yes, then the role of Process and Systems Coordinator could be ideal.
In this role, you will act as the key administrator to the Planning, Systems, and Information Team, which is part of Research and Innovation Support. You will be expected to assist the team with data validation to ensure that the underlying data for research and innovation activity across the University is correct and meets the needs of internal stakeholders.
You will be expected to effectively communicate any system changes or updates to your colleagues within the Research and Innovation Support.
Contract: Fixed term until 28/02/25
Hours: 17.5 per week
As a Process and Systems Coordinator, your duties will include:
- Acting as the key administrator for Worktribe, the research and innovation management system, acting as a point of contact on all matters relating to the system, ensuring staff understand expectations and requirements
- Develop, maintain and promote training and guidance resources on the effective use of Worktribe
- Deal with data quality issues and work with departments to ensure that any gaps and inaccuracies are addressed
- Support the use and management of external research and innovation systems, such as funder submission portals
- Help identify more general training needs across the institution and help devise and support the delivery of training sessions for cohorts of staff
The successful candidate will have/be:
- Educated to A Level or equivalent
- Experience in supporting the management and development of RI systems and processes
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A high degree of numeracy and confidence with figures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and clearly communicate complex information
