Job description

What you will do in your working day

• To be responsible for the Health and Safety of yourself and others by adhering to safe working practices
• Ensure all customers, drivers and visitors dealt with promptly, professionally and courteously
• Goods In: Unload deliveries, check the quantity and quality of goods and safely store in warehouse or yard in line with Company procedures
• Order Fulfilment – Accurately pick, pack and label customer orders in line with Company Procedures – requires manual handling
• Check the quantity and quality of any goods returned in line with Company procedures
• To carry out duties accurately and in line with the Key Performance Indicators
• To carry out general housekeeping, maintenance and hygiene duties, to ensure that the profile of the site is maintained to the very highest standard
• Undertake stock takes in an accurate manner

The training you will be getting

• Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative qualification
• End Point Assessment
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English, if required

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

• We do encourage internal progression and if they complete the apprenticeship there is the option of being a full time warehouse operative and us putting them through the FLT licence etc
