GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic
SEN Teaching Assistant for a distinguished
Schools in
Southampton to start immediately.
Ideally, you will be required to provide support to children who have Moderate
to Severe Leaning Disabilities in groups or 1:1, within a classroom setting and it's working with specialist provision with fantastic facilities.
As the ideal SEN Teaching Assistant, you should have experience in:
- Special Educational Needs, Emotional, Social, Literacy, and Numeracy difficulties.
- Supporting young people with Autism, Speech, Language, and Communication Needs.
- Previous experience in a 1:1 support, personal care, or Teaching Assistant position.
- Experience catering to Autism/ MLD children is ideal.
To work with GSL Education as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Possess at least 6 months of experience in an educational setting or the health care sector.
- Provide an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years.
- Hold a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
