Job Introduction
As a Residency Living Co-ordinator at Sodexo in Northumbria University , you are also a problem solver, multi-tasker and safety promoter. The Residency Living Co-ordinator position focuses on supporting the delivery of a comprehensive Residency Living Program, enhancing the quality of life and experiences of the residents in Northumbria University Accommodation. They need to be a ‘go to’ person who is visible; who will correspond regularly with students, employees and external stakeholders to keep them informed of Student Living and university developments relating to student accommodation and the Residency Living programme. What you’ll do :
- To create a fun living experience for our residents, providing the best platform from which our students can excel at their studies. To support in creating an environment that gives a homely experience where students will choose to remain until they graduate – increased retention being the main goal.
- Coordinate welcome packs and events for student intake, that will enthrall new arrivals and be at a level above those of our competitors
- Support and work on Open Days, including being on site and coordinate welcome events for prospective students.
- Support in providing and maintaining a uniformed approach to communications to the students living in Sodexo managed buildings – Creating a comprehensive standard template library
- Provide and manage a communications plan throughout the year that enables Sodexo to continuously be able to communicate with students with regards to events, issues etc.
- Support the University in the disciplinary process.
What you bring :
- Experience in similar role or strong transitional skills
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect
- Good attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
