Capel Court Extra Care Scheme, NP20 2FG
FTC for 6 months
The opportunity:
Washing, wiping, mopping, scrubbing, brushing, sweeping and shining - you'll be doing all of this and more to keep our extra care scheme squeaky clean for our tenants. The Domestic Team play a huge role in the scheme, as they ensure that bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas are kept clean and tidy for our tenants.
If you like keeping busy and have an eye for detail, this is the role for you! We'll give you the key to our cupboard full of cleaning tricks - plus all the training you need, so you know what products to use, where and when.
Many of our tenants like to get to know the people who work in their home, so multi-tasking is essential! If you can mop, dust, chat and of course have a few laughs all at once, you're the person we are looking for - after all, a clean home, is a happy home!
The role offers the opportunity to join a friendly, hardworking team and is suited to someone who is like minded.
What we need from you:
-
Communication skills - you'll work closely with the scheme manager, domestic and kitchen assistants as well as the tenants and their families, so it is important that you are friendly, approachable and welcoming.
-
Health and Safety awareness - we offer full training to make sure you know the risks, hazards and saftest way to work, but a basic understanding of health and safety in this role or willingness to learn is needed - getting the job done safely is key.
-
Team player - you'll be working in a busy team so you should be able to work alongside others well, but also use your own initiative to work alone when required too.
-
Great customer service skills - as well communication skills, you should be able to provide excellent customer service. Our tenants are our customer, so we are looking for someone who can go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service.
What we will offer in return:
-
Free DBS
-
Free Uniform
-
Free on-site parking
-
5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata)
-
Wellbeing support
-
Dedicated learning and development team
-
Perkbox discounts
