Head of Science and Technology Faculty

Required from 1st September 2024 – Full time MPS/UPS + TLR 2.3 (£7002)

Permanent position

We are looking for a passionate scientist who is an inspiring leader, capable of guiding a great team of staff on our continued journey as an improving school. The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader who would proactively promote our core values of Courage, Commitment and Compassion – ensuring that they are brought to life through the taught curriculum and through your contribution to extra-curricular activities.

You would be expected to continue to develop the positive ethos within Science and DT as established by the previous postholder, and to ensure that everything is in place to support positive outcomes. The post also includes the line management of Design Technology and Food Preparation and Nutrition.

The successful candidate will be an excellent and enthusiastic teacher, looking to join a community-focussed school where we go the extra mile to give our students the best provision we can offer.
