Description
We are currently seeking experienced Housing Repairs Co-ordinators (Sc5) to join our dedicated team. As a Housing Repairs Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the timely completion of housing repairs within our organization. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders.
In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the quality and safety of our properties, ensuring that repairs are completed efficiently and in accordance with industry standards. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of skilled repair technicians and contractors, while also collaborating with tenants, landlords, and other individuals involved in the repair process.
Responsibilities
Coordinating the scheduling and completion of housing repairs
Actively liaising with tenants, landlords, and repair technicians to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner
Conducting thorough assessments of repair requirements and identifying appropriate solutions
Ordering necessary materials and equipment for repair jobs
Maintaining accurate records of repair work and associated costs
Performing regular inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance issues
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting for repair projects
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing effective solutions
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination of repair activities
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in a related field is preferred
Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in housing repairs
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Proficiency in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:30
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £17.38
