Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Bloxwich, Office Based, Full Time
Pay: £11.50 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm
Immediate Start

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant for a full-time position based in Bloxwich. Please note that the company will be relocating to Walsall in February.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clerical tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing office correspondence.
• Maintain and update office records and files.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and catering arrangements.
• Provide general administrative support to the office staff.
• Assist with raising purchase orders, matching delivery notes, and invoices.
• Conduct reconciliations.
• Process purchase orders and raise invoices.
• Handle accounts payable tasks.
• Arrange BACS payments/transfers.
• Manage the allocation of credit card receipts to purchase orders and the online card system.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of supplier statements and chase copies of any missing invoices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier and customer details.
• Data input.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• A high level of integrity and ethical conduct.
