HR Advisor
Hybrid (3 days at home, 2 days in the office)
Temporary Contract up to 4months
Up to £31,000pa FTE
Monday-Friday (08:30-5pm Monday-Thursday, 08:30-4:30pm Friday)
Pure are excited to be working alongside an education setting who are looking for a HR Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis. This role will be home based predominately with a site visit expected once/twice a week where requested.
This role is for 3-4months with potential for it to continue.
Job Overview:
As a HR Advisor specializing in employee relations, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining positive employee relations within our organization. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to management and employees on a wide range of employment-related matters, with a focus on resolving conflicts, addressing grievances, and promoting a culture of fairness and respect. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on all aspects of employee relations, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
- Provide guidance and support to managers in handling difficult employee situations, including coaching on performance management and disciplinary procedures.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop and implement policies, procedures, and initiatives aimed at fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Keep abreast of changes in employment law and industry best practices, providing updates and training to ensure compliance across the organization.
- Work closely with legal counsel as needed to address complex employee relations issues and mitigate legal risks.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Qualifications:- Experience in a HR Advisor or similar role, with a focus on employee relations.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively in a corporate setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Proven experience conducting investigations and resolving complex employee relations issues in a fair and impartial manner.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
