Job Title: Business Development Manager
Office Location: Stockport / You will be working across Greater Manchester
Salary: £28,000
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, February Start (you must have a clean full UK driving license and own car)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-6pm (Flexibility required)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Business Development Manager. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales or business development background to join a very busy 24/7 courier and logistics organisation based in Stockport. You will play a key role in representing the company, building strong client relationships and bringing new business.
Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with existing clients to ensure their needs are met and to identify new opportunities for business growth
- Proactively develop and nurture new relationships and expanding the client base
- Implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve set targets and objectives
- Efficiently manage client accounts, ensuring a high level of service and client satisfaction
- Ability to be trusted to work from home, managing your time and tasks effectively
- As the role covers South Manchester, you must have a clean UK Driving License and your own car. Mileage will be reimbursed as per company policy.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably from a logistics and recruitment industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and develop client relationships
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a commitment to achieving targets
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks
- Must possess a clean UK Driving License and own a reliable vehicle
- Adept at working independently with minimal supervision
