We are looking for a Scientist who is enthusiastic, motivated and inquisitive to join us in our Protein Characterisation team, based in our Slough office in the UK.

About the role

This is an ideal opportunity to develop skills and experience in the biopharmaceutical sector. It will provide the occasion to conduct several bio-analytical assay techniques and to develop and implement assays for new protein and biochemical analysis to support the development of novel protein therapeutics.

What you’ll do

• Perform analysis of protein therapeutics using sv-AUC
• Hydrodynamic complex modelling
• Maintaining accurate records and contribute to authorship of analytical aspects of regulatory submissions, technical procedures, protocols and reports
• Assay and Instrument troubleshooting
• Preparation of samples

I nterested? For this role we’re looking for the following   education, experience   and  skills

• BSc in a relevant scientific discipline (PhD desirable)
• Excellent knowledge of protein chemistry in a lab based environment
• Experience using analytical techniques such as Analytical Ultracentrifugation, HPLC, Spectroscopy
• Previous expose to SEDfit for data analysis is desirable
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders
• Proactive and positive mindset with a passion for scientific research
