Achievement Support Officer required – Gateshead – £95 – £115 per day

Are you an Achievement Support Officer with a passion to encourage progression in your pupils?

This exciting Achievement Support Officer vacancy is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for more flexibility and a placement in a good school in Gateshead.

This rewarding role is to start ASAP, with working hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Achievement Support Officer responsibilities and duties:

– Supervision (both in groups and one-to-one) of students in the Achievement Support Room, including catch-up sessions from mock exams.

– Supporting students’ achievement by liaising with teachers, Heads of Year and parents/carers.

– Supporting student with homework during lunchtime and during after-school homework hubs.

– Collection of students for after-school interventions.

– Cover supervision.

Achievement Support Officers of all levels and experience will be considered for this role, including NQTs.

To be considered for the Achievement Support Officer role you should have:

·       Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).

·       The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.

Achievement Support Officer Salary and Benefits:

·       Competitive rates of pay from between £95 to £115 per day (AWR Compliant).

Additional requirements:

·       Reference details will be requested prior to registration.

·       Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online, PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
