Job description
KC Group are working with a leading employer in Birmingham, who have a newly created opportunity for an Employee Relations Manager.
As the Employee Relations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in promoting employee engagement, managing conflicts, and fostering positive relationships within the organisation. As well as managing a team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing employee relations strategies and policies that align with company values and objectives.
- Management of employee relations team.
- Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures in compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, providing guidance on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Participate and support delivery of training sessions for managers and employees on employee relations best practices, conflict resolution, and diversity and inclusion
- Analyse employee relations trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend proactive solutions
Requirements –
- CIPD Level 5 and above Qualified
- Prior experience in a similar level role within a large organisation, handling high volume and complex ER cases
- Proven experience as an Employee Relations Manager, with a deep understanding of UK employment laws and regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels of the organisation
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience in delivering training sessions and workshops on employee relations topics
