Job description
URGENT We are currently recruiting for an Environmental Health Officer for the Public Sector in Lisburn. The hours of work will be 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday. The rate of pay is £18.81 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations
- Identify and assess potential health hazards in various settings, such as workplaces, public areas, and food establishments
- Perform root cause analysis to determine the source of environmental health issues
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and improve environmental health conditions
What we need from you:
· Previous Experience
· A third level qualification (for example, an HNC, HND, NVQ Level 4, Degree) or equivalent in Environmental Health.
· 1.2 Membership of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
· Six months relevant experience in a field directly related to Environmental Health.
· A hard working attitude
