Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to join a specialist school in Salisbury, Wiltshire. We are currently seeking Learning Support Assistants to join this school on a full-time basis.
Experience is preferred but not necessary. The School is specialised in educating pupils with various special needs (SEN). The students will have all been identified as having complex and additional needs and as such are better suited to specialised learning and will have an individualised curriculum based on their specific needs. They cater for both primary and secondary aged pupils and have pupils with Autism (ASC), PMLD, MLD and SLD amoung others. The school support young people to develop their emotional well-being and social skills in addition to their educational needs. As a Learning Support Assistant your role will be to support learning in a nuturing and creative way. Applicants will be working in a classroom and off-site supporting assistants and fellow Learning Support Assistants on a 1:1 or in small class sizes. They are looking for individuals that are passionate about developing a career and will be willing to put you through training, including teaching training for dedicated members of the team. The successful Learning Support Assistant will help establish positive and healthy relationships, emotional well-being and developing social skills.
