Lloyd Recruitment Services are in search of an experienced Pricing Consultant to join our well-established client in the Crawley area. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with a new project that aims to reshape pricing dynamics within our client’s business.
About the Project: This project hones in on strategic pricing aspects crucial for the successful launch of an insurance product.
Your Role: As the Pricing Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in redesigning the rating system for an insurance product, positioning the company competitively in the marketplace. This involves implementing new rating tables, recommending rate changes, and ensuring minimal impact on existing customers. Your responsibilities will include actuarial loss ratio analysis, spreadsheet modelling, impact analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Role Overview: - Dive into market research to decipher pricing trends and identify strategic opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design and conceptualise innovative financial products with a keen eye on practical pricing models
- Develop meticulous pricing strategies, encompassing financial projections and risk assessments
- Navigate regulatory landscapes to ensure pricing compliance throughout the product development cycle
- Work with technical developers to ensure the new system is correctly implemented
- Oversee implementation, working hand-in-hand with technical teams for a seamless pricing structure at launch
- Analyse post-launch market responses, making data-driven pricing adjustments as needed
- Keep key stakeholders regularly informed at each step of the process
- Work with test teams to implement, and be involved in, a test process which ensures the new rates can be thoroughly tested
Essential requirements: - Proven expertise in end-to-end financial services product launches with a sharp focus on pricing
- Strong research and strategic planning skills cantered around practical pricing dynamics.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory pricing requirements in the financial sector (ideally a focus of insurance related products)
- Project management prowess, leading cross-functional teams with a practical pricing mindset
- Clear communication skills for presenting pricing strategies and recommendations
- Contribute to practical pricing strategies that set industry benchmarks
