Senior Events and Marketing Executive
Hybrid working – Remote with a requirement to work in our Head Office (in Dunfermline) 2 days per month and for adhoc meetings and training.
Salary: – Up to £30,000 DOE plus benefits

Role information
As Senior Events and Marketing executive you will be involved in the development and implementation of key strategies to drive attraction and support retention of our people. Supporting the Employer Brand marketing manager in the execution of campaigns and delivery of events.
Core Responsibilities
Take the lead in the delivery of Employer brand events . Events include London Vet Show, ECC Congress stand, IVCE Graduate Event, IVCE Leaders Event,
EVECC and CPD events. Working with the Employer brand marketing manager to set clear objectives and develop plan to maximise the opportunity and ensure that all touch points are considered and there are clear KPIs for each.
Supporting Events Lead in the delivery of Vets Now annual ECC Congress . This event is a key date in ECC diary and core to our employer brand positioning, attracting over 1,000 delegates. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing delegate and exhibitor enquiries
- Managing production and delivery of event brochure
- Organisation of speakers and chairs for events extensive lecture programme in advance and onsite
- Supporting event lead with organisation of various dinners and gatherings held throughout the Congress. Including, themed Gala dinner, internal awards night and Annual Leaders Event
- Co-ordinating onsite branding and messaging for multiple promotional screens at event
- Provide support for event lead with event App to ensure we are providing the best experience for our delegates and exhibitors
- Sponsor and exhibitor support
Key Skills and Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in marketing / events, focusing on improving client experience.
- Successfully contributed to a brand’s presence, creating positive brand position and equity across multiple channels.
- Experience of planning and implementing multi-channel campaigns and/or led channel activity.
- Confident in producing offline marketing materials such as newsletters, posters, event materials and experience managing production workflow.
- Ability to plan workload and evidence ability to collaborate with a wider marketing team or agency.
