EYFS Teacher
We are currently helping a special needs school in Trowbridge in gaining a EYFS teacher to work full time from February 19th on a long term commitment. The school cater to a wide variety of students with differing conditions so the school are either looking for a EYFS teacher looking to do something a little different or a special needs teacher. As with any specialist provision, class sizes are smaller with extra support available to help navigate through the days. We are looking for a teacher that has the right sensibilities to teach and support young children that are still very much reaching milestones in their social development and differing rates. Some children may be autistic, others with complex needs. So confidence in differentiation of learning is essential so they are all catered for. Resilience and patience are also key attributes we are looking for, since some children with exhibit behaviours linked to their diagnosis. The school based in Trowbridge is part of a wide federation of special needs schools in Wiltshire and together make one of the largest SEN providers in the UK, with a team of warm, empathetic and caring people making up the school teams. In order to be considered UK QTS is required. A enhanced DBS on the update service is also needed as part of your application, either via one you already have or by applying for a new one.Job tags
