27.5 hours, various shifts to include alternative weekends

We’re seeking a Customer Supporter t o join our team at Rose Manor, where you’ll have the opportunity to work in a positive environment with a dedicated team who value the individuals they support and make a difference in people’s lives every day.

As Customer Supporter, you will be providing front of house reception duties, as well as developing and promoting group activities for our customers.

Set in the vibrant new community of Ketley Millennium Village, near Telford, Rose Manor is a new purpose-built development, offering a selection of apartments for over 55s, with a range of on-site services and facilities.

The role of Customer Supporter will include:

• Providing front of house reception duties
• Developing innovative and varied individual and group activities
• Promoting and evaluating activities for customers, enabling them to reach their own potential
• Assisting and encouraging customers to access and maintain a level of integration into the wider community
• Working with other staff to ensure a clean and comfortable environment is maintained
• Escorting customers to off site appointments, such as GP visits

Skills and experiences:

• Experience of developing and leading customer involvement activities
• Previous experience working with a similar customer group is desirable
• Good interpersonal and customer care skills
• Experience with working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• NVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards
• Literacy and numeracy equivalent to at least GCSE Grade C English and Maths
