Job description

Experienced KS2 Teacher required for a long term role in a Halifax Primary School.

The school is part of an academy trust, with a strong focus on the support and welfare of young people. The Trust and the school hold very high standards for their students behaviour and expect their teachers to uphold those standards.

The School are keen to appoint someone that would be comfortable working between two separate classes.

The role will include :

• Working in the mornings with a small group of Year 6 students to fill gaps in learning through intervention.
• Teaching a split Year 3/4 class in the afternoon.
• Responsibility for Safeguarding and student well-being
• Managing Behaviour through the schools behaviour policy

The role is a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year, and is open to ECTs with the right experience.
